In this tutorial, I'm going to show you guys how to make your graphic look like its on a TV Screen in Photoshop CS2
First off, find a picture that you want to be on the "TV Screen"
I cant recall where i got the TV render for this one at the moment, but thats really a moot point at this time..
Take your TV render and cut out the center of it, and past it in a new layer. Position the TV's frame around the picture that you want to be inside the TV.
Remember the Screen that you cut out and pasted into a new layer? Position it to where it fits exactly like you never cut it out, now set they layer to "Screen"
Ctrl + Click the layer with the screen in it, then create a new layer. Within that selection, fill it with scan-lines, if you don't know how to make scan lines, you can see it Here
Bring the layers Opacity down to where you can just barely make out the scan-lines, i have mine set to 18%.
Now you need some Fuzz / Interference to go along with your TV.
Make a new layer and go to Image->Apply Image.
Again cut out the screen and paste that into a new layer and delete the previous one. Now you're going to go to Filter -> Noise -> Add Noise.
I only added enough noise to where it didn't distort it too much, but it was noticeable. Then i set the layer to color and dropped the Opacity down to about 40.
Well i hope this tutorial helps someone.. or anyone.. heh.
If you guys ever want to learn something, just ask and I'll write a tutorial for you.
