Having to be Over 16 to be GM

well Huntress this is a good server so far! but I got a question why does it have to be over 16 years old to be a GM. I have apply a few times before with my age (13 going on 14) and they have let me in since I have had exp. with GM stuff. I abuse my powers or act immaturely when someone says crap. If I could get a shot at being a GM again though I"m under 16 that would be great

Did you just openly admit that you will abuse being a GM? Well i guess I can say that you're the first to be honest about that. Lol.

People usually under 16 are not mature enough to be serious with themselfs. I think the age limit should be 15+ some 15 year olds are mature only a few though...

That's like saying the age to drive shouldn't be 16 but just let a few 15 year olds drive....... We give it that limit because it is reasonable. People of younger age throw tantrums that will now be tolerated. Yes I understand grown folk do it, which is definitely why it's a zero tolerance. Keep in mind, letting the wrong people be GM can mean we lose people due to, "people using favoritism", "bad judgment", "not good enough consumer to client skills", "bad work ethic", etc. There are a range of things you have to take into consideration. That's just the way the world works. Do you mind there be 15 year olds running around drinking? Of course some wouldn't but that would be bad judgment because they would probably die of alcohol poisoning since they think they can do and take on anything. See the outlook? I win. ^_^

Hmmmm GM. Been there done that and quite frankly I don't envy any of you. It's a totally thankless job. Now and then you get someone who appreciates you but on most servers the majority of players seem to think that GM's are there for their own personal convenience. Thank you all for putting in the time and effort that's what makes this server a cut above the rest.

No problem. For those that THINK that GM's are for convenience need to get a grip, and be told these exact words, "I'm not here to ship you around and give you items, I'm here to HELP you better yourself in the game by resolving in-game issues to help better your gameplay." Some players think that GM's owe THEM something, WRONG. GM's don't owe anyone anything except themselves, since they're the ones that volunteer to take time out their day to help someone else play the game. It's called being appreciative, some learn it later than others, but it's a big aspect of life. Learn it, live it, and deal.

I do not agree with this rule at all im sorry because there are some teens less thatn 16 that are mature its not all of them that are immature and im 14 and im pretty mature so theres my opinion i hope you all agree

I think you need to be over 13 because some players age 13 would abuse gm power I belive the age limit for gm should 15 are over that what I think.

So if it was someting different such as drinking or driving, you think you should be able to do that too? Or even being able to buy a house??? Not trying to make this debate more than it should, but a GM does moderate people... And giving a teen or even a PRE-teen that privilage is even a little hesitating. I say this because even though you may be mature or even THINK you're mature (not directed towards you), even and especially in that age bracket a person needs to learn more about responsibility and such. It's just the way things are, even though people don't see things fair. I mean hell, people think they should be able to buy cigarettes before 18.... But 18 classifies a person an adult, not 13 - 14. Do you know why it's like that? Or even why age limits are on certain things such as driving, jobs, smoking, going to clubs, drinking, and/or being considered an adult?

well a rule is a rule
if i had it totally my way i wouldnt hire someone under 18
the fact is if you fill out an ap and i dont like you you dont get gm
every gm app is given a different acceptance policy
some will maybe be a little under 16 and they may have been accepted from there experience, and or maturity
but making a post about why i cant be gm cus of my age , only lets the maturity level that is attached to teenagers portray its self to everyone once again

if you think you could be a gm then prove it, playing here a few hours then sayiing oh i want to be gm, and spamming the online gms with i made an app read it pls
isnt gonna get you gm, when people do that to me , they get my vote against them
